 Geology Braided streams below springs which rise below the upper eastern slopes of Addlebrough.
 Record Name Thornton Rust Moor. Addlebrough East springs. Two burnt mounds.
 Record Description 2 Sites: 1st site = Medium, average. Located at spring at the grid reference. 2nd site = Medium, low. Located at a different spring some 200m to the SSW. Both these sites are located at calcareous springs. Remains of crayfish (carapace fragments holed by a bird beak) predated by short eared owl, the carapace remains were found at this location together with an owl pellet. *Indicative dimensions. Size: Small <6m, Medium 6m-9m, Large 10m-15m, Extra large >15m. Height: Low <0.5m, Average 0.5-1.0m, High >1.0m.
