Record Description | West facing fully exposed limestone cliff with species rich limestone ashwood including a cloned colony of aspen and two isolated junipers (prostrate form).
Surprisingly at this elevation ash, blackthorn, elder, hawthorn, hazel, rowan and downy rose grow on the exposed face of the cliff at their local altitudinal limit.
Self seeded sycamore is also present.
Rarities include lesser meadow rue and rigid buckler fern.
