| Record Description | These are images of two of the four cup and ring marked rocks initially recorded at Munn End (Beckensall and Laurie 1998, pp96 and 97.)The small portable rock, earthfast when first located, almost certainly was originally incorporated within one of the many small rock cairns in the area. Unfortunately this small rock has been lost under thick heather and I have not seen it for many years.
Subsequently further small cup marked and cup and ring marked rocks have been located on Munn End following further heather burning, see for example SWAAG HER No 291.(SD081019 centre) |
