 Record Name Relict woodland with aspen clones on various Scars with Namurian strata at Sleightholme.
 Record Description The fragments of native woodland described here grow on various small cliffs or Scars in a state of constant erosion from the floods of Sleightholme Beck. Tree species recorded on these Scars include aspen, willows of several species,rowan, ash (occasional). The abruptly faulted strata influences the nature of the woodland composition here. Further visit required to record plant lists.
