| Where's the tent? | |
| Oh dear! Overnight high winds had pretty much destroyed one of the tents so accommodation was more cramped than usual today. Happily the accompanying rain blew over by mid-morning and much was accomplished. Today's efforts were mostly about cleaning back features, recording what we had and beginning to backfill. I will take this opportunity, by the way, to acknowledge the incredible contribution made by Archaeologist Tony Liddell, our professional mentor. He has been a consistently reliable and cheerful guide for this bunch of enthusiastic amateurs! |
