Day Six: more stone
Almost perfect conditions for digging this morning with plenty of cloud cover and a hint of moisture in the air. The troops were busy removing topsoil from the central area, and more large stones were uncovered in the western area. Another quern stone fragment turned up, as did Tony. But it was mainly a day of stones. And more stones.
