| Day Five: so much stone! | |
| Today the South-West corner was extended revealing an area of what is thought to be natural stone pavement which was incorporated into the site. The 2016 Trench B was further excavated, revealing flags extending further than had been first thought. Finds today included a stone disc which may have been used as a gaming counter and several possible quern fragments. | |
