Day four: some exciting developments
As the heatwave continues, diggers on The Hagg have made excellent progress today, uncovering what may be a (paved) platform at the southern edge of the site and returning to Trench B of 2016 to expose flags and more fully explore their extent. Star find of the dig so far was a Romano-British pot base approximately 4 inches in diameter.
