Our next Members' Meeting on Zoom 8th December
Author and SWAAG Trustee Rod Flint will speak about "Rebellion, Repression and Resistance" - Rod explores the events that culminated in the building of Richmond Castle and why its location was of such significance to the invading Normans. He will show how the character and politics of The North led to its brutal harrying in 1070, dispelling some of the myths and describing how life changed dramatically for those who survived and tried to resist.
