The Swaledale Project: Bellerby Moor Wessex Archaeology Dig
The follow on process from the Bellerby Moor SAR Survey was for the 'MOD' to commission Wessex Archaeology to investigate the survey results. This allowed a small number of SWAAG members to participate in a small dig.
SWAAG would like to thank Wessex archaeologists: Neil and Mike for all they did to make the dig an informative and enjoyable experience in far from ideal conditions. Wessex's report will be published in due course.
