The Lonsdales came annually to the Laurels in Reeth, usually at haymaking time but other times too. They were great walkers. On one day they walked 27 miles when visiting the Buttertubs. This album covers the period 1926-7. They lived with their parents in Hornsea. The album plus postcards have been given to the Swaledale Museum by a nephew. Unfortunately they were not great photographers but there are some interesting images if a little out of focus. |
