| Record Name | Black Beck House |
| Record Description | The remains of Black Beck House are still visible on top of a small knoll. It appears to have been a 2 up 2 down house with a small outbuilding on the north west end. It is not possible to identify the entrance, but the front of the house faces the south west.
There is a remains of a small 'front garden' and what appears to be a garth surrounding the house although a section of it has been robbed out and can no longer be detected.
Black Beck House appears on all the early OS maps.
Active army range no public access. |
